When was the last time you heard someone bragging about implementing a computer system and having it done on their expected due date, within the projected budget and meeting all of their objectives? For decades, the IT industry has been notorious for cost overruns and missed deadlines. Anybody can promise you a successful project; PSSI will follow through with it. What makes PSSI different? We will properly manage your Information Systems implementation:

The PSSI Project Management Roadmap
Define The Project: Before we start your
project, we (you and PSSI) have to define the project, its
scope, and your success criteria.
Plan Project Activities: The next step is to
define, in detail, all of the steps within the project. Many
projects fail because people didn't consider, early enough,
the full scope of the work involved in the project.
Plan Project Costs: Without a solid
understanding of your project costs, a project can quickly
fail. Costs are made up not only of the price of the software
and the external fees, but of all the resources required to
carry out a project, including your staff and equipment.
Plan Communication: Communication within your company
and between your company and PSSI are essential. To assist in
the communication, we create a web-base Project Management
site for our projects where issues, resolutions, assignments
and schedules are posted. No one is left in the dark.
Track Progress: At the onset, we
identify the project items to track and then begin monitoring
your project's progress.
Manage The Schedule: We jointly manage
your project by identifying problem areas, fine-tuning the
schedule, and frequently reporting its progress.
Manage Resources: Resource management
is required as we progress through the project. We track the
progress of your and our resources, identify and resolve
allocation problems, manage shared resources, and report the
project progress.
Manage Project Scope: The scope of a
project consists of the products or services to be provided
and the work required. As your project progresses, you may
find that some parts of the product or service need to be
adjusted or eliminated. Identifying those changes
as early as possible will minimize their impact on the
overall project.
Report Project Status: Keep stakeholders
and team members current on project progress by making
information available with online or printed views and
reports.
